Strauch runs at state meet

BELFAST — Dexter Regional High School senior William Strauch took part in the 2016 Class C boys cross country championship on Nov. 5 at Troy Howard Middle School.

Strauch covered the 3.1-mile course in a time of 18 minutes, 56.9 seconds. He finished 47th among a field of 101 runners. Strauch ran the same route a week prior at the regional final to qualify for the state meet, and he was about 13 seconds faster than the Saturday before (19:09.86).
