Pine Tree Hospice annual meeting Nov. 17
SANGERVILLE — Each fall Pine Tree Hospice invites its volunteers, board members and members of the community to celebrate the continued commitment to supporting those who are living with life-limiting illness by attending the organization’s annual meeting and dinner. The meeting and dinner will be held on Thursday, Nov. 17 at the East Sangerville Grange beginning at 6 p.m. The theme for this year’s meeting is “Hospice: Creating and Preserving Memories.”
Pine Tree Hospice serves 39 towns in Piscataquis, Somerset and Penobscot counties with volunteer hospice supports, such as caregiver respite, light housework, companionship and many other non-medical services. Trained volunteers make a difference in the lives of clients in many ways, such as providing caregiver respite, food preparation, light housework and helping with errands. Most of all, Pine Tree Hospice volunteers offer a caring presence that listens and makes every attempt to see that the client’s needs are met, whatever they may be.
Please RSVP to 564-4346 or email wecare@pinetreehospice.org by Nov. 4.
