Guilford plans Bicentennial Harvest Fair this Saturday

GUILFORD — The annual Harvest Fair will celebrate the town of Guilford’s Bicentennial with a day of activities on Saturday, Sept. 24.

HARVEST FAIR HAYRIDE The Bicentennial edition of the annual Harvest Fair in Guilford will feature events on Saturday, Sept. 24, including hayrides with Brian Woodworth.

 

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. there will be free and fun family activities at the North Main Street area, including a hay bale maze with prizes, hayrides by Brian Woodworth, creative pumpkin and face painting and sidewalk chalk creations. The Guilford Historical Society will be open and the society will conduct a sidewalk sale with grilled hot dogs and beverages, as well as Bicentennial and historical memorabilia.

A fashion show featuring clothing styles of the 1800s starts at 3 p.m. at Community Fitness, 31 High Street

The Red Maple Inn hosts live outdoor entertainment from 2-6 p.m., under the tent featuring Out of The Blue.

A guided luminary tour at Elmwood Cemetery starts at 6:45 p.m. with Town Manager Tom Goulette speaking on the history of the site.
