80 YEARS IN GRANGE

Opal Bennett is presented with a certificate from Valley Grange Master Jim Annis in recognition of her 80 years of membership in the Grange, during a May 17 ceremony at the Hibbard Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dover-Foxcroft.
The 94-year-old Bennett joined the Abbot Grange in 1935 at the age of 14, and she became a member of the Valley Grange in Guilford in 1978. Bennett was joined by family and friends at the ceremony, along with Valley Grange Secretary Mary Annis, Lecturer Walter Boomsma and Chaplain Janice Boomsma.
