DDATT film screening slated New Year’s Day
DEXTER — DDATT’s first Friday movie for 2016 will take place on Jan. 1 from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Abbott Memorial Library. “Can You Improve Soils with Biomass?” introduces terra preta, biochar, and ramial wood chips.
Three short videos will present ideas about increasing fertility in garden and agricultural soils using biomass instead of chemicals. Discussion follows the films, for more information contact 277-4221 or info@ddatt.org.
