Grace Greene, 8 of Dover-Foxcroft, was busy hauling boxed turkey dinners provided by the Abner Wade Masonic Lodge of Sangerville to those being served by the Dover-Foxcroft Kiwanis’ annual Christmas Project.
This year’s Christmas Project provided holiday gifts, along with winter coats for those in need of the attire, to 180 children in 77 families in communities making up RSU 68, with the combined items being provided costing between $15,000 and $20,000. Gifts were picked up by families on Dec. 12 at the Dover-Foxcroft Congregational Church, and those stopping by were given turkey dinners by the Abner Wade Masonic Lodge as Greene used her wagon to transport the boxed meals from a trailer to vehicles.
