KIWANIS CELEBRATES VETERANS DAY

On Nov. 11, the Three Rivers Kiwanis of Milo-Brownville served its annual turkey dinner with all the trimmings to over 180 veterans and their family members at the Milo Town Hall. American Legion Post 41 presented a POW/MIA ceremony before the dinner was served.

Stephanie Gillis’ Veterans Singers sang lots of patriotic songs. Also, 12 dinners were delivered to families who could not get to the hall. Getting ready to serve the meal, are, from left, Art Doyle, Lorraine Gray, Ben Kittredge and Nancy Harrigan.
