MILO ELEMENTARY SALUTES VETERANS

The Milo Elementary School recognized those who served during the school’s annual community Veterans Day ceremony on Nov. 6. The presentation featured tributes from each grade as well as performances by the Veteran Singers, pictured, under the direction of Stephanie Gillis.
In her welcoming remarks Milo Elementary Principal Julie Royal said the ceremony serves “as an important lesson for our children to participate in” as they learn about what veterans have done for their country through their military service.
