Mark Mesaric Sr.

PARKMAN & UNITY – Mark Mesaric, Sr., passed peacefully at his home on October 28, 2015, after a long illness. He was surrounded by family and dear friends during his final days. Mark started his journey in this world on February 1, 1952, the son of George and Edith Mesaric of Sandy Hook, CT.

He was blessed with six brothers, Larry, James, Richard, Michael, John and Joseph Mesaric; as well as his sister, Catherine.

At the age of 18, Mark moved from CT to Parkman, ME, where he met and mar- ried Patsy Ann Thurlow of Parkman. Mark and Patsy built a full life together including their two children, Mark Mesaric II and Tammy (Mesaric) Rossignol; their business, Pine View Lumber, and many connections with close friends, family and their community, along the way. Mark and Patsy shared a lov- ing marriage for nearly 40 years together prior to Patsy’s death from cancer in December 2012.

They are survived by their

children and their spouses; five grandchildren; and many extended family members.

During the last year and a half of his life, Mark was also blessed to have Joyce Cleveland as his loving part- ner, by his side. Mark’s family wishes to thank Joyce for join- ing the family and sharing her heart with Mark.

Throughout his life, Mark was known for his skill as a woodsman and a sawyer, his love for hunting, and his incredible work ethic. Mark lived by a code of hard work and generosity, and took great pleasure in lending a helping hand to anyone in need. Mark’s family is proud to note that even in his final days, he was dedicated to helping others.

It is in that spirit that the family requests that anyone wishing to honor Mark’s life does so through an act of kindness or generosity within their community
