The Sangerville Fire Department earned four awards at the annual meeting of the Maine State Federation of Firefighters Sept. 12 in Belfast. The 27 Sangerville firefighters in attendance took first place in the Ladies Auxiliary Marching Unit, the Hose Cart for the 1899 entry and Sangerville’s 1955 Ford. Sangerville also won second place in the Fire Department Marching Unit.
