Proud of our hometown

To the Editor:

My niece and I, who grew up in Dover, had an opportunity to get back there in September.

We were fortunate enough to get a tour of Mayo Mill. Our guide was Tom Lyford. He was personable, knowledgeable, humorous and patient. He even showed us his apartment!

We were very impressed with what has been done to the mill. It is now beautiful, functional, and not the eyesore it could have become. We’re proud of our hometown and happy to see it growing.
