MEMORIAL DAY IN DOVER-FOXCROFT — Memorial Day was recognized last year in Dover-Foxcroft with a procession through town. Clockwise from above, the color guard leads after a ceremony by the Civil War monument with the Foxcroft Academy band marching behind them, a ceremony included the tossing of a wreath into the Piscataquis River from the East Main Street bridge and then a blessing and veterans honored their comrades by taking part as the procession turns from its start on Summer Street onto North Street by the post office.
