Project Linus Blanket Day April 25

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — Just a reminder to all who may be interested in attending the 2015 Project Linus Blanket Day — sponsored by Bangor Savings Bank — is scheduled for Saturday, April 25 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Penquis Higher Education Center. A lunch will be available by donation from the Dover-Foxcroft Congregational Church Women’s Fellowship.

    There will be quilts that need to be finished, quilt kits to be put together, and other projects in need of completion. If you plan to sew by machine, please bring your sewing machine. There will also be plenty for those people that do not want to use a sewing machine, such as crocheting around fleece blankets and hand sewing binding and tags on quilts and more.
