Elton John tribute act at Center Theatre

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Center Theatre announces a special performance by Yellow Brick Road on April 4 at 7 p.m.

Yellow Brick Road, A Tribute to Elton John, is a full concert tribute band, complete with a light show and sound system. Although the band is from Augusta, Elton John, aka lead singer Gerald Brann, is a graduate of Foxcroft Academy and his performances have won him rave reviews across the state and along the East Coast. They have a strong following at many locations across the state and Dover-Foxcroft is no exception, having performed multiple times at the Center Theatre. Their repertoire includes music taken from the entire Elton John canon, including classics such as “Rocket Man” and “Bennie and the Jets”, as well as newer music such as “The Lion King” and “Billy Elliot.” Nearly everyone has heard at least one Elton John song, giving Yellow Brick Road the ability to connect with a wide variety of ages and communities.
Tickets can be purchased by calling the Center Theatre Box Office at 564-8943, stopping by the theatre at 20 East Main Street from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Friday or by going to the website at www.centertheatre.org.
