Plum Creek Wilderness Race Day Schedule

Saturday, Feb. 7
Start and finish
at Leisure Life Resort,
Lily Bay Road

8:30 a.m. Mingle and meet the mushers and their dogs as they prepare for the race.
9 a.m. 60-mile race start
10 a.m. 30-mile race start
10:30 a.m. Snow Shoe races for all ages, sponsored by the Appalachian Mountain Club
11:30 a.m. Appalachian Mountain Club will present an Animal Tracking Clinic for all ages
12-3 p.m. Await the return of 30-mile sled dog teams
1 p.m. Skating Party at Leisure Life Resort and bonfire to welcome back mushers. Hot chocolate offered by Northwoods Gourmet Girl of Greenville.
2-5 p.m. Await the return of 60-mile sled dog teams by the bonfire
6 p.m. Cocktail hour at Leisure Life Resort to meet the mushers
6:30 p.m. Awards ceremony for 30-mile race sponsored by West Branch Pond Camps
6:45 p.m. Awards Ceremony for 60-mile race sponsored by Plum Creek Timberlands
