EMDC and Husson partner for workshop series

    BANGOR — Eastern Maine Development Corporation and Husson University are joining forces in 2015 to offer a series of workshops designed to help new and existing business owners learn how to navigate challenges and seize opportunities.

    There are four workshops currently scheduled in the Strategies for Business Success series.
    The first, “The Dynamics and Issues of Family Owned Business,” is set for Tuesday, Jan. 27 from 8:30 a.m.-10:00 a.m. at Husson’s Center for Family Business on the Bangor campus. The workshop is free, but registration is recommended. Visit www.emdc.org/events for additional details.
“Working with Husson is a natural fit for us,” Michael Aube, EMDC’s president said. “We’re happy to be able to merge our resources with theirs to benefit business owners and future business owners in the Bangor Region.”
    Workshops in the series will be held once a month and conclude in April.
