North Country Christmas at Abbot Evangelical Free Church

    ABBOT — The North Country Strings will present a program of sacred and secular holiday music entitled “A North Country Christmas” at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5 at the Abbot Evangelical Free Church on Route 15 in Abbot Village.

    The North Country Strings will perform original and lively arrangements of traditional Yuletide carols and other holiday favorites to celebrate the season.
    Members of The North Country Strings include Susan Ramsey on violin, viola, vocals and guitar; Peter McGuire on guitar and vocals, Deb Maynard on bass and sax, Ruth Fogg on cello and vocals, Chelo McGuire on violin and vocals, Caleb McGuire on whistle, vocals, and percussion; and Joshua McGuire and Tim Johnston on percussion.
    Also featured in the program will be students of Ramsey’s music studio.
