Squaw Mountain joins WinterKids Passport program

    PORTLAND — The 2014-15 WinterKids Passport, the ultimate ticket to winter fun, is now available at WinterKids.org. The passport is a great way for Maine families to try new winter activities, including downhill and cross country skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, snow tubing and more.

    Each and every 5th, 6th, and 7th grader in Maine is eligible for a Passport, which contains free and discounted tickets, lessons, and rentals at more than 50 outdoor recreation areas all over the state.
    New WinterKids partners this year include Big Squaw Mountain in Greenville, featuring downhill skiing; the Outdoor Center in Newry, featuring cross-country skiing.
    WinterKids Passport holders can also take advantage of Passport Perks and WinterKids Days which includes deals and discounts.
