East Sangerville Grange events Nov. 1

EAST SANGERVILLE — Saturday, Nov. 1 will be a busy day at the East Sangerville Grange, as it marks the return of two of its best-known annual traditions: the annual holiday craft fair and the seasonal Coffee House Music Series.

The holiday craft fair runs from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., with lunch beginning at 10 a.m.. The menu will include assorted quiche and salad, soup, grilled sandwiches and a selection of delicious homemade desserts.
Crafters will offer a wide variety of hand-made and locally produced items including sweaters, pottery, watercolors, photography, jams, honey, hooked rugs, soaps, and turned wooden bowls. Even after almost 30 years, admission to the fair is still one dollar.
The Coffee House series, which runs through April, begins with a performance by identical twins Chris and Meredith Thompson. This powerful sister duo has been singing and strumming together since 1992 and is an ESG favorite. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the door or two weeks in advance at Bob’s Farm Home and Garden in Dover-Foxcroft.
New to the Coffee House this year: free refills on all beverages and a 50/50 raffle. Make sure to come early enough to get a cup of the Grange’s famous coffee and a dessert!
