Center Theater Coffee House opening Oct. 6

DOVER-FOXCROFT — There’s a new business opening up in the heart of downtown Dover-Foxcroft, thanks in part to a $30,000 CDBG grant awarded to the town.

CenterCoffee    Center Coffee House is preparing to open its doors to the public on Monday, Oct. 6, following extensive renovation of their 22 East Main Street location, formerly the box office of the Center Theatre.
This creative partnership between Center Theatre and proprietor of Center Coffee House, Lori Sharrow, begins an exciting new chapter for the Theatre with a rental income property at its side.
“Our coffee house operation will benefit from the traffic which already flows through the doors of the theatre,” said Sharrow, “and we will be open early (6 a.m. on weekdays) and late on evenings when there are events happening next door.”
Both parties are eager to see what other possibilities lay in the near future for collaboration between the two entities.
The new business will offer in-season freshly brewed espresso drinks, coffee, alongside light fare courtesy of Stutzman’s Farm Stand & Bakery, another local business who will benefit from this collaborative effort. “We are so happy to work with Rainie & Sid [Stutzman] and their crew; their food is fantastic and a perfect complement to our really, great coffee,” said Sharrow.
Center Coffee House can be found on the web at www.centercoffeehouse.com where you will find contact information, drink menu, and more.
