DOVER FOXCROFT — The Center Theatre in Dover-Foxcroft is proud to announce that it has reached a long-term agreement with the soon-to-open Center Coffee House in the theatre’s recently converted box office space.
“I can think of no more perfect business to open next door to the Center Theatre than the Center Coffee House,” says Executive Director Angela Bonacasa.

“In addition to bringing a much-appreciated business into the downtown area, its perfect location will enable theatre patrons to enjoy freshly brewed in-season coffee and locally crafted baked goods before or after a show. Each business will have its own hours, of course, but there will be many opportunities for collaboration and partnership around theatre events.”
Owned and operated by Lori Sharrow, the Center Coffee House has been planned expressly to serve a client base which is currently underserved in the Dover-Foxcroft area.
Opening on Monday, Oct. 6, it will provide homemade food items prepared by Stutzman’s Farm Stand and Bakery, free Wi-Fi, a casual atmosphere, and of course, really great coffee.
The two businesses have already started discussing different ways that they can work together.
“Events like the upcoming Halloween festivities, the Hometown Holidays celebration, and the Center Theatre holiday play are all events that will benefit from the existence of the Center Coffee House,” says Bonacasa.
“I am personally very excited to explore all the ways that having a great coffee house right downtown benefits all of us.”
A list of all upcoming events is available on the Center Theatre website at www.centertheatre.org.
