Sebasticook Family Doctors will celebrate National Health Center Week

    Sebasticook Family Doctors is celebrating National Health Center Week with special activities in Dexter and Dover-Foxcroft
    All week at all locations staff will answer questions on the insurance marketplace and help patients with the patient portal.

    On Wednesday, Aug. 13 in Dexter there will be a dental meet-and-greet with their new dentist Dr. Marion Hernon. Between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., SFD Board Vice President and colon cancer survivor, John Parola, will hold brief discussions about colon cancer and his experience with the disease. Colonoscopy information will be available.
    On Friday, Aug. 15 in Dover-Foxcroft, the focus will be mental health awareness with the Sebasticook Family Doctors’ Behavioral Health Team.
    Sebasticook Family Doctors wants to hear your story of how the health center has impacted you, your family, a loved one or your community.
    At the end of Health Week, there will be a drawing from all the stories entered.
