PHINNEY, Wayne F., 71, Dover-Foxcroft, at Bangor, July 19, 2014. Per his request no funeral services will be held.

    DOVER-FOXCROFT – Wayne F. Phinney, 71, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2014, at Eastern Maine Medical Center, Bangor. He was born in Dexter, ME, on December 11, 1942, the son of Marion Phinney and late John Phinney. Wayne spent his years working at Moosehead Manufacturing & Guilford Industries where he retired. He enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, singing, listening to music, watching TV and golfing.
    Wayne was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Priscilla Phinney of Dover-Foxcroft; and his father, John Phinney.
    He is survived by his mother, Marion Phinney of Dexter; brother, Ronald Phinney of Garland; and sister, Marcia Clukey of Dexter; also by his son, Randy Phinney; and two daughters, Lisa and husband, Shane Joslyn, and Michelle Mooers, all of Dover-Foxcroft; five grandchildren, Alyssa Phinney, Michael and Kimberly Joslyn, and Leah and Emily Mooers; three great-grandchildren, Alexis Burdin, and Jayde and Jenna Davis; as well as several nieces.
    Per his request no funeral services will be held.
