PO-DoloresWilliamsOB    GUILFORD – Dolores Jean Williams, 78,  passed away at her home in Guilford on July 12, 2014. “Dodie”, as she preferred to be called, was a well known cook and hard worker her whole life, also very well known for her pies. She worked at Drakes Restaurant for many years as well as many other nursing and boarding homes.

    Dodie was the daughter of Walter (Bill) and Cleora (Dutchy) Goode.
    Dodie was predeceased by her husband, Wayne Williams on November 13, 2001. She was also predeceased by her step-son, Terry Williams of Guilford.
    She is survived by two stepsons, Ronnie Williams and his wife, Sheila of South Carolina, Chuck Williams and his wife, Priscilla and son, Tyler of Belfast; two sons, Walter (Willie) Williams, fiancé, Carla Arno, grandson, Stephen Williams, granddaughter, Tiffany Porter, as well as Michael Williams of Greenbush, wife, Debbie and granddaughter, Andrea of Rhode Island. She is also survived my many nieces and nephews whom she spent a lot of time with growing up.
    Dodie was well known throughout her community by everyone and loved by all.
    Graveside services will be held at the Lawn Cemetery in Guilford on Thursday, July 17, at 1 p.m., with a reception immediately following at her residence on 13 Hudson Ave., Guilford. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal, Guilford. For an online guest register, go to www.CrosbyNeal.com.
