MEA BOOK DONATION
The Maine Education Association received money from the Read Across America Grant which allowed them to purchase one book for every first grader in the state of Maine.

They bought 14,000 through this grant funded by Renaissance Dental, and 65 first-graders from the Ridge View Community School in Dexter received their books from local association co-presidents, Barbara Herring and Kristy Staples. Some of the books provided to students were “Let It Fall” and “The Biggest Snowman Ever.” Pictured is Pam Gray’s first grade students with their new books.
