Three Rivers Farmers’ Market opens June 19

    MILO — Beginning Thursdays, June 19 and every Thursday and Sunday through October 30, Milo will have a farmers’ market of its own located at the JD’s Business Complex at 38 Elm Street. Serving Milo, Brownville, LaGrange, Sebec and surrounding communities, residents and vacationers alike will be happy to get fresh produce, homemade pickles and preserves as well as arts and crafts all in one place.

    In addition, the Three Rivers Farmers’ Market hopes to offer a kids’ activity table, an information table regarding community organizations, local talent and prepared food vendors. They are still looking for additional volunteers, talent and vendors to round out the market. Hours of operation are Thursdays from 3–7 p.m. and Sundays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
