Upcoming Harmony Camp sessions

Summer is almost here, which means Harmony Camp is just around the corner. This year the Spruce Run-Womancare Alliance is offering Harmony Camp in the towns of Greenville, Dover-Foxcroft and Dexter.
Harmony Camp is a three day mini-camp designed to promote self-esteem and to make new friends.

CAMPING WITH KINDNESS — Children taking part in a past session of Harmony Camp, held by Womancare at the Dover-Foxcroft Congregational Church, learned about kindness while they participated in indoor and outdoor activities.

Campers will have the opportunity to explore their own uniqueness, learn to understand and express emotions, learn to communicate effectively and develop healthy friendships. Camp runs from 9 a.m. to noon each day and snacks will be provided.
Each camp ends with an art show for family and friends to attend, providing the children an opportunity to showcase all of their hard work.
Camps are scheduled in Greenville at the Union Evangelical Church June 24-26, in Dover-Foxcroft at the Congregational Church July 8-10, and in Dexter at the Knights of Columbus Hall July 15-17.
Registration forms will be sent home with children from school, and can also be found by visiting www.sprucerun.net. Scholarships for the camp are available. For more information, please call the Dover–Foxcroft office at 564-8165.
