Trask endorses Raye for Congress

    MILO — Piscataquis County Commissioner Fred Trask (R-Milo) announced his endorsement of Kevin Raye in the Second Congressional District GOP primary race.

    “As a small businessman from rural Maine, Kevin Raye ‘gets it!’ His outstanding leadership in Augusta has made a difference for the people and the economy of the Second District, and he has my 100% support as our next congressman!,” Trask said.
    Trask represents District 3, which includes the towns of Atkinson, Brownville, Lake View Plantation, Medford, Milo and Sebec. It also includes the Northeastern Piscataquis Unorganized Territory of Orneville.
    In addition to serving his third term as Piscataquis County Commissioner, Trask is agency owner and agent at Trask Insurance in Milo. He has worked in the insurance industry since 1974 and currently oversees the daily operation of the agency. Commissioner Trask is a graduate of Husson College.
    “I am excited to have Commissioner Trask’s support,” Raye said. “He is a respected leader who serves the people of Piscataquis County well. It is terrific to have his support and advocacy for my campaign in Piscataquis County!”
