MURCH, Violet H., 85, Dover-Foxcroft, April 29, 2014. There will be no funeral. Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 8, at the Funeral Home. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft.

PO-VioletMurchOB    DOVER-FOXCROFT – Violet H. Murch, 85, passed away April 29, 2014, at Hibbard Nursing Home, Dover-Foxcroft. She was born March 20, 1929, in Sangerville, the daughter of George and Josephine (Martin) Hall.
    A graduate of Sangerville High School in 1946, she married Frank H. Murch in 1947. She was employed at “old” Mayo Memorial Hospital for over 20 years, and Piscataquis County Jail for twenty years as the cook.
    She is survived by daughters, Wendy M. Pullen and husband, John, of Monson, and Christine M. McCorrison and husband, Val, of Corinth; six grandchildren, Kristin Pullen and husband, Cory, Jennifer Sabean and husband, Ted, Jonathan Pullen and wife, Stacey, Matthew McCorrison and wife, Sarah, James Pullen and wife, Jeneve, Craig McCorrison and wife, Erin; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Irene Bonsey; and several nieces and nephews.
    She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank, three brothers and one sister.
    Friends are invited to call from 12 noon until time of memorial service at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 8, 2014, at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft, with Rev. James Proctor of the Corinth Methodist Church officiating.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Frank H. Murch Scholarship Fund, c/o Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Association, 52 Court St., Dover-Foxcroft, 04426, or to Hibbard Nursing Home Assisted Living Activity Fund, 1037 W Main St., Dover-Foxcroft 04426.
