Dr. Potenziano earns doctorate
Phillip J. Potenziano, a 1986 graduate of Piscataquis Community High School and formerly of Sangerville, has completed all the requirements for the Doctor of Education degree in the Professional School Administrator Program from Boston College.
Dr. Potenziano successfully defended his dissertation “Opportunity to Learn: The Role of Structures and Routines in Understanding and Addressing Educational Inequities” on March 13. Dr. Potenziano will be officially awarded the degree on May 19 at Boston College’s commencement ceremony.
After graduating from PCHS Dr. Potenziano earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maine at Farmington, a Masters Degree in Special Education from the University of New Mexico and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern Maine.
Dr. Potenziano is currently the director of student services in the RSU 14 Windham Raymond School Department. He resides in North Yarmouth with his wife and three children.
