D-F Fire Department ice fishing derby results

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Dover-Foxcroft Fire Department held its annual ice fishing derby March 1-2 on Sebec Lake with the following results:

    Togue first Corey Murphy 5.1 pounds; second Greg Johnson 4.28 pounds; and third Matt Connor 3.92 pounds.
    Salmon first Greg Johnson 1.91 pounds; second Michael Phelps 1.48 pounds; and third Chris Johnson 1.38 pounds.
    White perch first Melinda Nason 1.3 pounds; and second Brett Snide 1.22 pounds.
    Youth first Anthony Bisson 5.92 pounds; second Randon Herring 4.46 pounds; and third Hunter Meservy 4.41 pounds.
    Cusk/pickeral first and second Gordon Hall.
    Lunker and biggest fish winner, Levi Steadman at 7.12 pounds.
    The ice fishing derby also featured over 30 prizes donated by area businesses.

    PRIZE CATCH — During the Dover-Foxcroft Fire Department’s annual ice fishing derby, which was held on March 1-2 at Sebec Lake, Levi Steadman hauled in a catch weighing 7.12 pounds. Stedmans had both the largest lunker of the derby and the biggest fish, earning him the $400 prize.
