PVC Class C honorees

    Seven basketball players from the region received post-season recognition from the Penobscot Valley Conference.
    Trevor Fogarty of Dexter Regional High School and Penquis Valley High School’s Trevor Lyford were both named to the PVC Boys First Team. Nate Burns of Piscataquis Community High School was chosen for the boys Third Team.

    Abbie Melvin of Dexter was named to the Girls First Team and PCHS’ Alex Speed is on the Second Team. The Girls Third Team includes Michaela White of Dexter and Delani Bennett of PCHS.
    All-Academic honorees include Lyford and Colton Larrabee of Penquis, Fogarty and Dustin Sirabella of Dexter and Penquis’ Allison Durant for the girls team.
