Mountain finishes senior season with USM field hockey
GORHAM — Cristina Mountain, a resident of Dexter and 2010 graduate of Dexter Regional High School, was a senior on the 2013 University of Southern Maine (USM) field hockey team.
A midfielder/back, Mountain appeared in all 21 games for the Huskies. Mountain, who is majoring in athletic training, picked up two assists during the year.
USM finished the season with an overall record of 10-11, going 6-5 in Little East Conference play. The Huskies were the fifth seed for the conference playoffs, and fell at No. 4 University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth, 2-0, in the quarterfinals.
