IN CONCERT — Lay-Z-Gait will be performing at the East Sangerville Grange on Feb. 1.
Lay-Z-Gait is steeped in the down-home, vibrant sound of Texas swing, honky tonk, blues and country. According to their website “They provide the rhythmic drive of a steam locomotive and enough fiddle and lap steel guitar to make you send your own mama to prison.” The swing rhythms, vocals and distinctive sounds of the lap steel and fiddle create a uniquely American music experience that is instantly recognizable and fun.
The concert starts at 7 p.m. and doors open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are available at Bob’s Farm Home and Garden in Dover-Foxcroft two weeks prior to each show.
