BROWNVILLE JCT — Results from the Maine Highlands Sled Dog Club and town of Brownville KI and Beyond Sled Dog Races on Jan. 25 are as follows:
Eight-dog, 30 miles: 1 Rico Portalatin 1 hour, 56 minutes and 23.82 seconds; 2. Kasey McCarty 2:21:41.25; 3 Dave Punch 2:23:55.50; and 4. Catherine Benson 4:20:06.47.

RACER DU JOUR — Alyssa Reischauer took part in the dog skijor division of the KI and Beyond Sled Dog Races on Jan. 25 in Brownville Jct. She and her dog covered 20 miles in just under two hours.
Six-dog, 20 miles: 1. Heather Gould 1:17.38.12; 2. Susan Bain 1:20:28.98; 3. Terry Knowles 1:29:57.88; 4. Amy de Wolski 1:32:08.89; 5. Joan Chapman 1:40:13.86; 6. Larry Homer 1:59:42.86; 7. Linda Powers 2:14:04.61; and 8. Jeff Ladd 2:24:16.26.
One-dog skijor, 20 miles: 1. Alyssa Reischauer 1:59:56.48.
Fun run: Rhonda Welcome six miles 40:57.92; and Laurie Schneider nine miles 1:09:30.71.
