Masonic Lodge dog sled race on Feb. 8

    MILO — On Saturday, Feb. 8 Piscataquis Lodge 44 of Milo will host several dog sled races, starting by the Lodge on Route 11 near the base of Swett Hill heading toward Brownville — with plenty of room for spectators.

    The four-dog class race starts at 10 a.m., covering a route of about four miles. The six-dog race will begin at 1 p.m. In-between will be children’s one-dog races, allowing the youngsters to experience riding in a dog sled over a short distance of several hundred yards.
    The event will feature breakfast sandwiches and then lunch at noon. For more information please call Greg at 943-8879.
