PCHS boys rally to beat GSA, 69-65
GUILFORD — The Piscataquis Community High School boys rallied from a 36-23 deficit at halftime to defeated George Stevens Academy 69-65 Friday night.

LIFTOFF — Tristan French of PCHS (3) scores two of his 23 points on this jumper, despite a defensive effort by Finn Davis-Batt of George Stevens Academy. PCHS won 69-65 to improve their season record to 6-2.
PCHS went ahead for the first time in the game with one minute to go in the third quarter.
Tristan French and Nate Burns each had 23 points for the Pirates; Ben Morrill added 14 and Cody White chipped in with 7 points. French went 2-for-2 at the free-throw line with 47 seconds to go in the game to clinch the victory.

Kelsey Allen led GSA with 17 points, Finn Davis-Batt had 16 and Philip Shaheen added 15 for the Eagles.
PCHS is now 6-2 while GSA dropped to 4-6. The Pirates hosted Penquis Monday night and will travel to Central in Corinth on Wednesday, Jan. 15.
