MILO — The American Legion Joseph P. Chaisson Post 41 wishes to thank the generous people of the Milo area for their support with Project Beal House.

The Beal House is housing located on the Veterans Administration grounds of Togus and provides free temporary housing for family and loved ones of veterans receiving medical service at Togus.
They operate strictly on donations and Post 41 Legionnaires and Auxiliary took on a support project to gather white goods and donations as their year-ending project.
On Dec. 7, 16 veterans weathered extreme windy and cold conditions soliciting donations at the Tradewinds Supermarket in Milo. The response from the citizens was outstanding. More than $700 in goods, $710 in cash donations and a $40 calling card was collected.
On Dec. 13, two vehicles full of goods were delivered to the Beal House at Togus.
We are very proud of the community for their support of American veterans.
