‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ auditions

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Center Theatre and the Slightly Off-Center Players announce auditions for their holiday production of “It’s A Wonderful Life.”

    This theatrical production is the live performance adaptation of the 1946 American Christmas drama film produced and directed by Frank Capra. All roles are available, including roles for men, women and children.
    Auditions will be held at the Center Theatre on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 10 a.m. and Monday, Oct. 21 at 6:30 p.m. Those auditioning will be asked to read selections from the script. Copies of the script are available for viewing in advance at the Center Theatre box office. Rehearsals will begin Oct. 28, and will be held four to five days per week until opening. Not everyone will be called for every rehearsal.
    “It’s A Wonderful Life” runs Dec. 13, 14, 20 and 21 at 7 p.m. as well as Dec. 15 and 21 at 2 p.m. purchased in advance.
