MMA railroad workers informational workshop Monday, Aug. 19 in Milo
MILO — A free workshop will be held for all MMA railroad workers at the Milo town hall on Monday, Aug. 19 starting at 9 a.m. Doors open at 8:30 a.m.
The topics to be covered are job searching (required for unemployment compensation), updates from the Department of Labor, dealing with mortgage and foreclosure prevention, access to health care, local education and training, how to access state resources, how to access local resources, heating assistance, school supply assistance, starting a business and dealing with your 401K.
Lunch will be provided by the Three Rivers Kiwanis of Milo. This workshop will be a closed door meeting.
