Piscataquis Chamber holds annual meeting and elections

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — The 2013 annual meeting of the Piscataquis Chamber of Commerce was called to order by Chamber President Sherry French on June 20 the conference room at Foxcroft Academy.

    A quorum was present. It was voted to bypass the complete reading of the 2012 annual meeting minutes.  The secretary’s report was accepted unanimously as submitted. 
    Rose Durgin presented the 2012 financial report.  Report shows the Chamber ended the 2012 year with a positive of $561.49. Expenses were all considered normal but membership dues were below projected budget at $21,149.25.  Being no further questions or discussion, the financial reports were approved as submitted.
    The 2013-14 slate of officers and directors was presented for consideration:

    There being no affirmative response to the president’s invitation for additional nominations, and there being no affirmative response to the invitation to participate in discussion, the usual motion and second to accept as presented was followed by tallying of proxy votes and the unanimous approval of those present. 
    The president declared the 2013-2014 slate of Officers and Directors duly elected as presented. 
    The annual executive director’s report was submitted by the Piscataquis Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Erin Warstler.  This report will be available to all the Chamber membership via email and the Chamber website, which includes a slideshow of the highlights of the year’s events and looking ahead to events and visions of the future for the Piscataquis Chamber of Commerce.
