KeyBank Foundation donates $2,500 to PRYMCA

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Piscataquis Regional YMCA recently announced a $2,500 grant from the KeyBank Foundation. KeyBank Foundation, a foundation funded by KeyCorp, supports organizations such as the PRYMCA that serve the public interest and address critical needs within the community. “KeyBank has a giving focus of economic self-sufficiency, rooted in the belief that economically self-sufficient individuals are empowered to face the challenges they encounter as they aspire to achieve their dreams,” said Margot James Copeland, Chair of the KeyBank Foundation.

POOL GRANT — Amy Heywood-Smith, Branch Manager of Key Bank in Guilford, presents Deb Boyd of the Piscataquis Regional YMCA with a $2,500 check from KeyBank Foundation to support renovations to the Y’s pool.

“We are so thankful for KeyBank’s support,’ said Deb Boyd,  the Y’s executive director. “We are celebrating our 25th anniversary in our building, and find our facility – specifically our pool – in need of maintenance and upkeep. These funds will help us to get a jump start on some of those needs.”
In addition to this grant, Plum Creek has challenged other wood product businesses to contribute to the Y’s pool renovation project. They will match up to $15,000 of the money raised.
