Homecoming parade winners
DOVER-FOXCROFT — The following are the award winners as determined by a panel of three judges during the 2013 Dover-Foxcroft Shiretown Homecoming Parade “A Splash of Summer!” on Aug. 3:

FIFTY AND 20 YEARS LATER — Both the Foxcroft Academy Class of 1963 and Class of 1993, below, were among the classes to have floats in the Aug. 3 parade, which was also held during Foxcroft Academy’s Alumni Weekend. The Class of 1963 took home Best Alumni Float honors.
Best Non Profit/Civic Service:: Dover-Foxcroft Kiwanis.
Best Business Float: A.E. Robinson.
Howard Kesseli Memorial Plaque (best exemplifies the true meaning and spirit of the parade and its theme): A.E. Robinson.
Best Parade Float: Dover True Value.
Best Antique Unit: Maine State Police motorcycle and antique car unit.
Best First Responder Unit: Dover-Foxcroft Fire Department.
Best Alumni Float: Foxcroft Academy Class of 1963.
Best Musical Group: Sebasticook Valley Band.
Most Unique Float: Foxcroft Veterinary Services.
Judges’ Choice: Ready, Set Grow Preschool.
