Breakfast and silent auction scheduled for the morning of Aug. 17

    SEBEC — The Sebec Village Associates are pleased to once again be hosting a fantastic all-you-can-eat breakfast in conjunction with a spectacular silent auction on Saturday, Aug. 17 from 8 to 10:30 a.m. in the Reading Room at Sebec Village.

    As in past years, local businesses have donated wonderful items for the auction, and local crafts people have created marvelous pieces for acquisition. This year the auction has been expanded to include children’s items so bring your family, neighbors, and guests as there will be delicious food and enjoyable company all during the exciting silent auction that ends precisely at 10:30.
    Special thanks are being extended to Save-A-Lot and Countryside Meat Market in Dover-Foxcroft for their generous support which makes this community breakfast possible. The proceeds of this event will help to support the Reading Room in general and specifically assist in refurbishing the floor.
    The meal will include eggs, ham, bacon, sausage, pancakes, toast, potatoes, beans, and beverages.
