Pat’s Pizza teams up with Penquis Smart Starts for Students

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Pat’s Pizza of Dover-Foxcroft proudly announces that they are teaming up with the Penquis Smart Starts for Students back to school project.
On Monday, Aug. 5, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Pat’s Pizza will donate 10 percent of all food sales, including take-out orders, to the annual school supply drive.

Manager Jason Simpson says it is a win-win situation for his business and local students. Patrons can choose to dine in or call in their take-out order to 564-2500. In addition, supporters of the Smart Starts for Students project can drop off donations of backpacks and basic school supplies that day at Pat’s 100 East Main Street location.
Parents can register their children at www.penquis.org (select Register Here Back to School Supplies, Smart Starts for Students) or by calling Project Coordinator Sheree Brown at 974-2440.
According to Brown, the project served 360 students from the Piscataquis region last year and the need is expected to be high again this year.
“If you love dining out and doing good deeds, this is a wonderful way to do both,” Brown said. “We are proud to partner with Pat’s Pizza and hope everyone comes out on Aug. 5 to enjoy some good food for a good cause.”
