DIG INTO READING
Sangerville Public Library Librarian Linda Hall stands next to a display created by Joyce Galgano, friend of the library, for the “Dig Into Reading” summer program. Hall devotes a great deal of the library’s summer activities toward children with programs for ages 3-6 called “Parents as Reading Partners,” and “Independent Readers” for ages 7-11.

Not only will there be an emphasis on reading books, but prizes will be awarded as well. For all reading program students, the library invites them to come for a free ice cream cone and a book on Aug. 2 from 2-3 p.m. in the Community Room of the Sangerville Town Hall. The library is open Monday-Wednesday noon to 5 p.m., Thursday 2-7 p.m., and Friday 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Please call the library at 876-3491 for information regarding summer programs for children.
