PO Ardith Judkins OB    DOVER-FOXCROFT – Ardith Maie Judkins, 92, passed away June 27, 2013, at Mayo Regional Hospital, Dover-Foxcroft. She was born July 3, 1920, in Alma, New Brunswick, the daughter of James and Carolyn (Seamons) Marks. She moved from Canada to the Milo area when she was five, where she lived until moving to Dover-Foxcroft in 1940.
    She leaves a son, Ernest W. Judkins III of Dover-Foxcroft; three daughters, Valerie A. Pease and her husband, Roger, of Redmond, WA, Carolyn M. Touchette of Baldwinville, MA, and Doretta S. Prior and her husband, Lyman of Carmel; a brother, Lewis Marks of Brownville; two sisters, Gilda Howlett and her husband, Dick of Crouseville, and Sandra Smith and her husband, John of Lewiston; five grandchildren, Christopher Pease and his wife, Yvonne, Tracy Smouse and her husband, Jeff Reed, Courtney Touchette, Heather Carroll, and Shamus York and his wife, Terry; ten great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Mary and Denise Marks; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    She was predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Ernest “Woody” Judkins, Jr.; two sisters, Una Welcome and Juanita Watson; and two brothers, James and Edward Marks.
    At Ardith’s request, there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children – Springfield, MA, c/o Anah Shriners, PO Box 735, Bangor, ME 04402-0735.
