July speakers announced for Y Free Healthy Meals

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — For the fourth year, the Piscataquis Regional YMCA is offering free healthy meals to all children 18 and under in the community. The program, administered through the Maine State Department of Education, is an amazing opportunity to make sure

the youth of our area get healthy meals and snacks this summer. Each week the Y brings in community leaders, professionals, and interesting people to talk to the kids. Speakers for the month of July are: July 2 Forest Ranger Ben Goodwin; July 9 Maine Warden Service; July 18 Dr. Challa Reddy; July 23 Katie Webb Dental Hygiene Associates of Maine; and July 30 Kristy Rizzitello.
    The Y offers a free healthy lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and a free healthy snack from 3 to 3:30 p.m. every weekday from June 17 through Aug. 23 at the Y, 48 Park Street in Dover-Foxcroft.  Children do not have to be members or otherwise associated with the Y. The program is open to everyone in the community. For more information on the Summer Lunch Program, please call the Y at 564-7111.
