New superintendent for Mountain View

    CHARLESTON — Jeffrey Morin has been named the new superintendent for the Mountain View Youth Development Center.
    In a statement Maine Department of Corrections Associate Commissioner Dr. Joe Fitzpatrick said,

  “It is my pleasure to announce that Jeffrey Morin has been offered and accepted the superintendent position of Mountain View Youth Development Center. Jeff  has worked in both juvenile and adult corrections for over 20 years and brings a wealth of experience with him to his new position. He has demonstrated strong leadership and an appreciation and understanding for both the operations and program side of running a correctional facility. Jeff’s ability to oversee both juvenile and adult facilities speaks to his versatility as an administrator and his overall ability to effectively manage diverse correctional populations.”
