NUTTING, Robert Wayne, 60, of Dover-Foxcroft, at Bangor, May 26, 2013. A graveside service for Robert will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday June 15, 2013, at Pine Grove Cemetery, French’s Mills Road in Dover-Foxcroft.

American Flag ColorDOVER-FOXCROFT – Robert Wayne Nutting, 60, died on May 26, 2013, at a Bangor hospital. Robert was born September 29, 1952, in Dover-Foxcroft, to James and Alberta Nutting. He graduated from Foxcroft Academy in 1972, then served in the Army for two years stationed in Germany. He was honorably discharged in July 1974.
    Robert was a man of few words, a gentle soul and liked by all that knew him. He grew up in the Sebec Lake area enjoying hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. Robert enjoyed music, writing stories and painting. His artwork was exhibited at the University of Maine at Farmington, Railroad Square Theater in Waterville and the Portland Museum of Art. Robert’s work was also on display in the State of Maine Capital and he was recognized at a Maine Artist Recognition Tea celebrating artists at the Blaine House in May 2007.
    Robert is survived by two sisters, Patricia Smith and her husband, Clayton Smith of Dexter, Eugenia Deering and her husband, Bruce Deering of Ripley; several nieces and nephews.
    A graveside service for Robert will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Pine Grove Cemetery, French’s Mills Road in Dover-Foxcroft.
